Corvallis’ 31st annual da Vinci Days GRAAND Kinetic Challenge – a 2-day competition of krazy human-powered, pedal-pushed, kinetic art sculpture vehicles traversing over land, sand, mud bog, and the Willamette River. Race starts on Saturday, 7/20 at Crystal Lake Park with Tech Check and Pageantry, then a race through town with a stop at OSU’s PRAx (photo opp!) and to the Benton County Fairground parking lot for a Sand Dune Challenge, and then race back to the starting line. Sunday, 7/21, features a Mud Bog Challenge followed by the River Challenge (at Willamette Park Boat Launch and exiting at Michael’s Landing near the Old Spaghetti Factory), race back through town to the Finish Line at Crystal Lake Park.
