PassinArt: A Theatre Company presents Black Nativity by poet and playwright Langston Hughes. Based on the traditional Nativity story, the spirit-filled, inspiring gospel song play features traditional Christmas carols performed in a gospel style with a few new songs specifically for the show. Black Nativity, a Portland tradition, opens December 1 and runs through through December 4.
