HELP is Just a Call Away

HELP is Just a Call Away

For Oregon seniors in need of support, the main national crisis line is 988, which connects to the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline and can be used for any behavioral health crisis. Call or text 988 anytime to reach a trained crisis counselor for emotional support or to report a crisis.

In Oregon, Lines for Life also operates the Senior Loneliness Line and a Behavioral Health Support Line, offering free, short-term counseling and help finding long-term care.

For general county-specific or non-crisis needs, contact your local Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC) or call 211 for statewide resource connections.

• Dial 988 and press 1 to connect with support for veterans, military service members, and their loved ones.
